Conspicuous consumption has to go in the wake of spiraling crude prices. Addiction to oil cannot be sustained in the long run and this is a lesson that all must learn very quickly now.

And yet Presidential hopefuls have the audacity to announce a summer gas tax holiday. I’m bamboozled!

How about asking consumers to take it easy?
