Just a Reminder–Faye is a SOLDIER who was captured by Iran, who happens to be a mother and a wife. She is no different from any other SOLDIER who enlists in the military. Women have fought to be treated as equals on all levels including in the military–so the next time a soldier is killed or captured, and they happen to be female, don’t make her out to be a wife and mother who was just minding her own business on the front lines, and was mowed down or kidnapped by a group of war-mongering males. She chose to be treated as an equal–a SOLDIER. Whoever decided on the tag line for this article is no better than the propagandists on the other side.
