Thank you Gagan for appreciating the effort put behind the interview and yes, ‘the Chakla’ is indeed gonna be a boon for the people who love cooking n stuff but lack the art of making chapattis as I have a few acquaintances for whom, making chapattis is still a big deal.
Thanx once again dude :)

Ok sorry I didn’t get you earlier, but I think you mean what I think you mean. I mean, I got what you mean right, right? Is this too confusing, like say making chapatis? That’s where Chakla comes in... :)

Suhasini is a wonderful designer. The environmental motif running through her series is a good news indeed. What better way to inspire kids about our planet than toys?
But what I find most interesting among her creations is the Chakla’ - a roti maker. Yep laugh all you want but ask someone who has learnt the art of making chapatis the hard way - by regular practice - and you’d get the hang of what I really mean. The shapes that I made initially are better left secret. I guess all the novices would surely appreciate such a wonderful product.
Glad to know that such wonderfully talented designers exist in our very own backyard. Kudos for a great interview Pooja!
